No Chance to Protect Yourself
Compensation for Rollover and Rear-end Crash Injuries
In a rear-end collision, the victims often never see it coming. In a rollover crash, victims are not necessarily as well protected as they would be in a front or side collision.
At Avila & Shaddow, we are familiar with the unique and severe injuries associated with rollover and rear-impact car accidents. We work to make sure that our clients obtain the proper diagnosis and treatment, and we vigorously pursue maximum compensation from the parties responsible for the crash.

Car, Van and SUV Rollovers
Sport-utility vehicles and certain passenger vans are more likely to roll after colliding with another vehicle or hitting a fixed object, and they are more prone to rollover when a tire blows or the driver swerves. As the vehicle bounces and turns over, occupants are violently tossed about, striking the interior of the vehicle or even shaken loose from safety belts. The lap belts and air bags do not always prevent injury (and sometimes cause injury). In many cases the roof or roof supports collapse, crushing the driver, passengers or both.
A serious accident can cause muscle injury, broken bones, spinal cord injury, head trauma and brain injury, scarring, as well as other catastrophic injuries, including death. Whether the accident was caused by a manufacturer's design defect or the negligence of the other driver, Avila & Shaddow will aggressively pursue their client's claims against the responsible party.
Rear-End Accidents
When one vehicle slams into the rear of another stopped at an intersection, most of that energy is transferred to the car in front. Occupants are snapped backward upon impact, then violently forward. The driver and/or passengers often suffer serious injuries to the head, face or chest, as well as arms, hands and thumbs, as they strike the steering column, dashboard, ceiling or seatback. Whiplash in the neck or back can be debilitating.
The fault for a rear-end accident is usually clear, but we have access to accident reconstruction specialists and professional investigators if fault is contested, or if there is evidence that a third-party's actions contributed to the accident.
